What are your biggest struggles with change?

Watch Woody Harrelson‘s opinion on the people vs. corporations, and then read on below because I need your help!  Help me, help you….. bonus if you know which movie I’m parodying…

Did you know that our issues are in our hands this way?  But there is more at play than just corporations isn’t there?  You gotta lotta stuff going on in your life that make these “easy” changes difficult.  It’s easier said than done, because if it was that easy, we’d already be making greater progress now that so many people are aware of the shit going on.

I’m working on some ideas to help you switch to a lifestyle that better matches your beliefs and values to help the world.  One that supports your change but without all the pressure and fear that you’re not doing it right, or all the overwhelm that comes with such an enormous transition.

But I need your help.  I need to understand what some of the biggest issues are that people are facing so I can make those the top priority instead of just using what I know from my own experiences and research.

Would you help me out and tell me in the comments below what your biggest struggles are with social and environmental change?  I would love to help more people start making the changes through this website, Facebook group (come join me!), and some materials I’m creating, but I would rather hear from all of you what you need specifically, so that it will make the biggest difference!  Can’t wait to hear from you!

Express yourself for Peace

Everyone is an artist or person who expresses their soul.  In whatever way is passionate to you, you can use your voice to educate and motivate those around you in a positive way.  If we work actively on the issues in our world, together we can make a difference.  Make a commitment to start using your artistic voice in a positive and proactive way today.

Are you married to your phone?

If you want a better society, you might have to be the first person to put your phone down, look someone in the eyes and show them you care through meaningful conversations and interactions.  Strangely, you’ll be far more rewarded for doing so than if you continue to follow the crowd.

You can get involved in any organization through money or volunteering, but what we also need is people willing to help the massive pollution problem by changing their lifestyle.

In the beginning of this video, narrator Edward Olmos talks about heroes. We all have this inner want to do something great.  But just like this video indicates, sometimes doing something really great isn’t being famous.  Sometimes doing something really great is just choosing to consistently work on one problem everyday without fail.

If this video inspires you, consider a lifestyle that is minimal. The reason we have so much factory pollution is because the people demand it through what they buy. If you change through effective personal development what you want decreases. You want less, spend less, become happier, and put less of a strain on the environment.

Evaluate the decisions you are making. Get intelligent with your spending and find ways to reduce your consumerism and pollution on this planet. You may only be one person, but when you do something enough times it gains momentum and becomes contagious to others. You will be a hero to all of us for standing brave and making a few sacrifices in your personal life for the sake of others and the environment.
